Pachyny is one delicious fast food which makes from saffron chicken. It is a famous name and of course popular food in the between Persian people. Firstly I tried it when I traveled to Qom or Ghom city (Qom is one of the most important city of Iran). My family and I traveled to this city and we are going to have lunch in Ghom of course with best quality. So we searched in Ghom streets for one hour. Suddenly we saw a funny view. We saw a long queue in front of a restaurant in Amin Street (BOLVARAMIN). I surprised with this matter so we were interested in try our chance (I believe to do risk because the most of funny events or new things will obtain with risk of course dangerous grade of it should be low). Maybe it is funny for you that we ate more than two kilos of saffron chicken Pachyny while we weren’t still full!!! We had to finish our food because the restaurant Amin (Hot chicken food) was finished. The taste and smell was fantastic with best quality. After that day, I frequently try saffron chicken Pachyny in the other restaurants but I never get taste and smell same that restaurant. Of course my dear wife frequently makes this food while its taste nearly is same it. I posted saffron chicken Pachyny recipe for you and I hope you will accept it. - 12 whole chicken wings
- 1 – 2 teaspoon saffron extract
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 large yellow onions (peeled the onions and sliced them into thin pieces and medium pieces)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or olive oil
- 2 teaspoon salt
- Enough herbs, black pepper powder, vinegar
First of all, put some olive oil or vegetable oil, vinegar, herbs, salt, garlic powder and some thin onion pieces into a bowl and stir it. Add 2 tsp of saffron extract with some lemon juice and a little pepper powder.
Then put chicken wings pieces into the bowl and stir the materials. Make sure to mix the chicken pieces very well into the materials so that all the pieces are coated or covered. Cover and leave it for 24 hours in the fridge.
After 24 hours, your chicken wings are ready for making of the Chicken Pachyny. Put the chicken wings onto a long, thin metal skewer with some small tomatoes.
Then pour a little of the oil mix with vinegar over the chicken wings.
Grill the saffron chicken wings for 10 – 15 minutes, turning them regularly until the chicken wings is brown on all sides and make sure both sides are equally cooked.
Now saffron chicken Pachyny is ready.
